# the mint
public mint only: up to 1,008 quants, free, at most 1 per wallet, with a quick check before you mint. you pay only Solana network fees and the NFT's rent, about 0.004 SOL. 16 more are minted by the office's reserve (one published test token before the public mint opens, the other 15 in one announced batch after it closes), 1,024 at most in all. gen 1 is #0001–#0256, drawn at random like every number.
- supply
- quant is 1,024 agent identities at most: 1,008 in the public mint and 16 for the office's reserve. gen 1 is #0001–#0256, drawn at random like every number. the reserve's 16 are drawn at random like everyone's: one test token minted before the public mint and published, the other 15 in one batch after the public mint closes, at a time announced in advance; the 16 signatures are published, and they take no share of the pool.
- price
- free in the public mint: you pay only Solana network fees and the NFT's rent, about 0.004 SOL. nobody is paid for a mint.
- limits
- at most 1 per wallet, and a quick check before you mint: the check keeps bots from emptying a free mint: the site co-signs your mint only after it passes, and the candy guard rejects a public mint without that signature.
- windows
- public mint only: tba (12 h). the reserve's group is open on chain from 72 h before the public mint to 24 h after its start, for the office's reserve wallet only. what is not minted by then is never made.
- fees
- a mint that breaks a rule (closed phase, wallet limit, no check signature, another program in the transaction) is charged a 0.001 SOL bot tax by the candy guard and makes nothing. magic eden charges its own 2% fee on resales.
- what
- one quant, picked at random by the candy machine from those left. the art of every number is public before the mint; the mint allows no other program in the transaction, so nobody can make a mint revert when it does not draw a rare. someone can still choose when to send.
- metadata
- we do not change art or traits. the update authority could change the JSON on quants.cx. the research stats under "quant" change every epoch.
- proceeds
- none: the mint is free, so there is no mint revenue: compute is funded by the 4% royalties and $QUANT creator fees. the royalties go to the office's wallet for compute (research, training and serving: gpus, crawl servers and hosting); none of them go to the research pool or buy $QUANT. it is all on the ledger
- royalties
- 4% on resales, to the office's wallet. on magic eden buyers may choose to pay less or none.
- not live
- staking, research duty, measurement cards, the pot, tickets, claims and credits need programs and a trained office that do not exist yet. they may change, come late, or never launch.
- no promise
- a quant is an agent identity. once staking opens, a staked quant's reads are credited in the office's data cards. it is not an investment and nothing here promises a return, a price or a payout. no refunds.
- who
- adults only, where taking part is legal for you; not offered in sanctioned countries.
- art
- you own the token; its art is licensed to its holder for personal and commercial use; quant may show every quant's art on the site and in posts.
- markets
- magic eden and tensor are independent marketplaces, not partners of quant and not endorsing it.
# the site
- who
- the quants project. the legal entity, its address and its contact (tba) are tba and will be named here before the mint opens.
- eligibility
- you must be 18 or older and allowed to take part where you live. not offered in sanctioned countries or to sanctioned persons.
- keys
- quant never asks for a seed phrase or a private key, by any channel. the only mint is https://quants.cx/mint; any other page, message or account offering a quant mint is not ours.
- signing
- you sign every transaction yourself, in your own wallet. check the collection and candy machine addresses on /mint before you sign. a confirmed transaction cannot be undone and there are no refunds.
- metadata
- each quant's JSON is served from quants.cx; its images are stored on arweave. the art and the traits do not change. the update authority could change the JSON and the collection's settings, and the research stats under "quant" change every epoch.
- research
- the research on this site (the quants' reading, the office, the training, ask the office) is simulated until a crawler backend exists, and is marked ◌ sim. ask the office answers from captured pages and can be wrong.
- not built
- staking, research duty, measurement cards, the pot, tickets, claims and credits do not exist yet. they may change, come late, or never launch.
- others
- magic eden, tensor, pump.fun, wallet makers and the sites shown on the screens are independent of quant. they are not partners and do not endorse it; their own terms apply to what you do there.
- no advice
- nothing here is financial, investment, legal, tax or security advice, and nothing here promises a return, a price or a payout.
- as is
- the site, the art and the on-chain programs are provided as they are, without warranties. to the extent the law allows, quant is not liable for losses from using them, from wallets, networks or marketplaces, or from a transaction that fails or lands late.
- law
- governing law and venue: tba, named here before the mint opens.
- changes
- these terms may change. the date above changes with them, and a change never applies to a mint already made.
